The Plant Ontology Project is granted full member status of the OBO Foundry

The Plant Ontology project is happy to announce that they have been granted full member status of the OBO Foundry (http://www.obofoundry.org/). After an extensive review by the OBO Foundry Editorial Working Group, the Plant Ontology (PO) and the Ontology for Biomedical Investigations (OBI) were judged to have performed well when measured against accepted OBO Foundry Principles (http://www.obofoundry.org/wiki/index.php/Category:Accepted).
